Summary: We were double counting some pairs in some cases. Specifically if four or more faces share an edge, then some of them were getting double counted. This is a minimal tweak to avoid that.

Summary: The shebang line `#!<path to interpreter>` is only required for Python scripts, so remove it on source files for class or function definitions. Additionally explicitly mark as executable the actual Python scripts in the codebase.
